Description
Sonerila sp. Tepuai is one more stunning, undescribed species of Sonerila from Kalimantan, Borneo. With it’s adult size rarely reaching 10 – 12 cm in diameter, it is perfectly suited for terrariums, vivariums and jars. It needs very similar conditions to Begonia and other small plants from tropical forest floor, which is rather dark and very humid.
Sonerila sp. Tepuai growing conditions:
- Humidity: high (80% or higher).
- Watering: intermediate (do not let the soil dry out, but avoid sogging).
- Soil: acidic with very good drainage (Sphagnum moss with perlite and peat or similar; pure Sphagnum works very well, too).
- Fertilizing: low.
- Light: intermediate to low.
