Description
Sonerila sp. Aurora Brown is undescribed species from Borneo. With it’s adult size of around 15 cm in diameter and stunning, colourful pattern it is perfectly suited for terrariums, vivariums and jars. It needs very similar conditions to Begonia and other small plants from tropical forest floor, which is rather dark and very humid.
Under specific conditions these plant can turn more green, turning more similar to the sp. Aurora Green.
Sonerila sp. Aurora Brown growing conditions:
- Humidity: high (80% or higher).
- Watering: intermediate (do not let the soil dry out, but avoid sogging).
- Soil: acidic with very good drainage (Sphagnum moss with perlite and peat or similar; pure Sphagnum works very well, too).
- Fertilizing: low.
- Light: intermediate to low.
