Description
Dischidia astephana is a much less-known Hoya relative, which is also an ant-plant, which means its modfied, bullate leaves serve as home for particular species of ants.
Dischidia astephana growing conditions:
- Light: moderate to high (best colours under strong light)
- Humidity: high (around 70% or higher)
- Watering: intermediate (do not let the soil dry out, but avoid sogging for a longer period of time).
- Soil: acidic with good drainage (Sphagnum moss with perlite and peat or similar), can be mounted on wood or rock
- Fertilizing: low
