Description
Begonia sp. Sarawak (also known as Begonia lichenora giant or big form), as the name suggests, comes from Sarawak – Malaysian state of north Borneo, which is abundant in many interesting Begonia species. It is rather small, partially creeping plant, with leaves rarely exceed around 5 cm in diameter, which makes it is a great rare species for terrarium/vivarium or another closed container.
For sale we offer only the best, much blue and very iridescent specimens from selected clones!
Begonia sp. Sarawak iridescent plant growing conditions:
- Humidity: high (80% or higher)
- Watering: intermediate (do not let the soil dry out, but avoid sogging).
- Soil: acidic with good drainage (Sphagnum moss with perlite and peat or similar)
- Fertilizing: low
- Light: low to intermediate (the best blue colours are achieved under weak light)
