Description
Begonia negrosensis is a quite similar species to Begonia roseopunctata, it has exactly the same colour pattern. But its origin are Philippines, leaves of Begonia negrosensis are much more elongated and stems are not as deep red as B. roseopunctata has. It is also worth to mention that B. negrosensis is significantly easier to cultivate.
Begonia negrosensis growing conditions:
- Humidity: high (80% or higher)
- Watering: intermediate (do not let the soil dry out, but avoid sogging for a longer period of time).
- Soil: acidic with good drainage (Sphagnum moss with perlite and peat or similar)
- Fertilizing: low
- Light: low to intermediate
