Sonerila

Sonerila is genus of Melastomaceae family that contains small, generally perennial plants. They mostly inhabits shady locations of tropical and subtropical regions of Asia. These which we have available for sale come from Indonesia and they are one of the most colourful and rare ones, perfectly suited for terrariums, vivariums and jars. They are small plants, mostly around 15 cm in diameter when adult. They resembles a bit some hairy Begonia species.
