Description
Selaginella sp. Java is beautiful, iridescent spikemoss species and it has similar requirements to other Selaginella species. Please note that it needs optimal conditions and light should be correctly adjusted to fully show its iridescence.
Selaginella sp. Java growing conditions:
- Humidity: high (80% or higher)
- Watering: intermediate or high (do not let the soil dry out completely, but avoid sogging).
- Soil: acidic with good drainage (Sphagnum moss with perlite and peat or similar)
- Fertilizing: very low to low
- Light: low to high (but the best blue colours are achieved under weaker light)
