Description
Begonia ningmingensis var. bella is a beautiful rhizomatous species from South China, where it naturally grows on limestone cliffs.
Our clone is particularly stunning because of highly contrasting colouration (dark leaves with bright, pronunced veins and purple hairs) when mature.
Begonia ningmingensis var. bella growing conditions:
- Humidity: high (80% or higher)
- Watering: intermediate (do not let the soil dry out, but avoid sogging for a longer period of time).
- Soil: acidic with good drainage (Sphagnum moss with perlite and peat or similar) with limestone added
- Fertilizing: low
- Light: low to intermediate
