Begonia daunhitam is slightly similar to Begonia sp. Temuyuk (kapuashuluensis) when young, but leaves of the latter always stay completely flat when developed and the former are more curved.

Description

Begonia daunhitam is yet another Bornean species from the Begonia genus which is beautifully iridescent. Like many other species from our offer, Begonia daunhitam should be kept in closed container, like terrarium, big jar or vivarium.

For sale we offer only the best, much blue and very iridescent specimens from selected clones!

Begonia daunhitam growing conditions:

  • Humidity: very high (at least 80% or higher)
  • Watering: intermediate (do not let the soil dry out, but avoid sogging).
  • Soil: acidic with good drainage (Sphagnum moss with perlite and peat or similar)
  • Fertilizing: low
  • Light: low to intermediate (the best blue colours are achieved under weak light)
