Sonerila sp. Aurora Brown is distinguished by tiny white dots which are sparsely and rather uniformly arranged on the whole surface of leaves. The dots have characteristic green background, which is also the predominant colour. This makes they resemble small glowing stars together with Aurora Borealis phenomenon. Moreover, the plant is covered with many red hairs and blooms with small pink flowers. Simply lovely look! The photos do not reflect the real beauty of the plant.

Description

Sonerila sp. Aurora Brown is undescribed species from Borneo. With it’s adult size of around 15 cm in diameter and stunning, colourful pattern it is perfectly suited for terrariums, vivariums and jars. It needs very similar conditions to Begonia and other small plants from tropical forest floor, which is rather dark and very humid.

Under specific conditions these plant can turn more green, turning more similar to the sp. Aurora Green.
