Description
This beautiful species of Labisia is mostly known simply under name “Turtle Back”. It characterizes this plant very well. With it’s glossy and waxy leaves with unique pattern, Labisia beccarrii is extremely ornamental, eye-catching plant. Slow growing, but generally tough species.
- Light: moderate (but tolerates low to high)
- Humidity: high (70% or higher)
- Watering: intermediate (do not let the soil dry out, but avoid sogging for a longer period of time).
- Soil: acidic with good drainage (Sphagnum moss with perlite and peat or similar)
- Fertilizing: low
